[DIY] Eos Lip Scrub

So I wasn’t able to post an article this wednesday since I post three times a week (monday, wednesday, & friday) and I’m sorry for that. I’m out of topic and I feel so lazy hehe. I am also apologizing for having no pictures in this DIY because I don’t have my laptop with me so I can’t transfer the images. But when I already have it with me, I’ll make sure to update this and insert the images so you’ll be able to understand more the procedures and steps.

Just want to let you guys know that I’m currently in to lip products because I used to have dry lips that is why this Friday, we will be making Lip Scrub that is on a eos container obviously but if you guys don’t know what Lip Scrub do with your lips then I got your back because I searched about it and here’s what it does..

“They basically get rid of the dead skin/top layer of skin that makes your lips feel cracked and dry. They make your lips soft and silky feeling, make sure to put on a good moisturizing balm on your lips afterwards, too. Also, don’t use it too often or it will make your lips raw and painful to the touch.”

Okay imma shut up now and let’s do the DIY!

You will be needing:

  • Coconut Oil
  • Sugar
  • Food Color (optional)
  • Eos Lip Balm Container

Procedure:

1. Put 1 spoon of coconut oil into your bowl. Microwave or melt it if your coconut oil is not yet liquefied. (Mine is already so I didn’t have to melt it)

(I also added some left overs from my eos lip balm because I don’t want to waste it and throw it away but you guys don’t have to if you don’t have eos left overs)

2. Add in at least 3 spoons of sugar and mix it.

3. Drop some of your food color into the bowl and mix it again. (I’m using red colored powder)

step 3.jpg

4. Separate the divider of your eos container and start filling the lid of the eos with the lip scrub. After filling the lid, carefully return the divider and add more lip scrub. Then reconnect the lower part of the eos. (I’m sorry if it’s a bit confusing but I know you can do it!)

5. Put it inside the freezer for about 15 to 20 minutes or until it’s already hard and  your done!

___ .. ___

I had so much fun making this and I’m pretty sure you will too. It’s so easy and so quick.

Take note guys that you shouldn’t use this as often as you want or else you’ll hurt your lips and also, apply some lip balm to your lips afterwards.

Okay guys thank you for again for reading this blog post and stay tuned for next weeks DIY Friday. mwaps!

[DIY] Scented Candle for Mother’s Day!

Another DIY this Friday! *woop woop* I decided to post different kinds of DIY’s every Friday because I know that you guys love ‘Do it yourself’ stuffs.

Since Mother’s Day is around the corner, this project is a perfect gift for your mudra’s (mothers). And evidently, I will be doing scented candle that is perfect to brighten up the mood of your loving mother. This will be my second attempt since the first one doesn’t smell like coffee (ps: i made coffee scented candle at my first attempt and gave it to my best friend), but I will make sure that this one will be a success.

Also, we will only be needing three ingredients for this diy so it won’t take much of your precious time.  Okay, enough with the rambling, let’s just start this DIY!

You will be needing:

  • Candle (With no scent, obviously)
  • Non-toxic crayon (So that your candle will look appealing. You can use your mother’s favorite color so she’ll like it even more)
  • Perfume or any scent that your mother would love
  • Empty Container

______ .. ______

Reminders: I recommend you guys to use materials that you can throw already after this project. I used plastic fork for mixing so that I can throw it away after I use it because if you will use a stainless fork,  you’ll have a hard time washing it because its covered by candle left overs.  If you’re still young then please ask for some help with someone who’s older than you like your sister or brother, that way you’ll be safe and won’t get yourself burn or something.

Procedure:

1. Prepare your pan with a hot water and heat safe container (I will be using lañera because why not).  We will use the lañera for melting our ingredients.

2. Put the candle inside your heat safe container and wait for it to melt. When it is already melted get the wick from your candle and attach it inside your candle container. Make sure to keep it straight.

3. Add the non-toxic crayon inside together with the melted candle and mix it.

step 3.jpg

4. When it’s all liquefied, add in the last ingredient which is the perfume. Assure that you put the right amount to avoid your candle having a strong smell or having no smell at all.

step 4.JPG

I remember spraying my perfume for about 15 to 20 times

5. After all that melting session, prepare your container and pour it carefully.

step 5.JPG

Unfortunately, my candle wasn’t enough for my container so I wasn’t able to fill it.

6. Lastly, wait for your candle to harden.

Finally, this is our finish product..

You can just customize your candle. You can put your mom’s favorite verse just like what I did.

That’s it! Make sure to give your mom a kiss and hug when you give them this present. I am pretty sure that they will really appreciate your simple effort for her. By this gift that you gave her, she will forget all her worries temporarily.

Don’t forget to tell your mom that you love her and you are always there by her side. That will surely make her cry later on haha.

Before my outro, I would just want to thank my lovely Grand Mother for helping me with this DIY. If she wasn’t with me then I wouldn’t be able to do this alone. So I’m very thank full for her. Love you granny! mwaps!

So thank you for reading this blog. I hope that you guys will always be there to read my future blogs and DIY’s. I am hoping that you will support me thru my blogging journey.

Advance Happy Mother’s Day to all mother’s around the universe!

[DIY] Lip Balm (two ingredients only)

Happy Happy Monday everybody!

This will be my first time posting a DIY and as you have read the title, I will be making a Lip Balm. As you all know, I am always here inside our house and I always feel bored so I decided to make my own lip balm and I thought why not share it with you guys.

This DIY Project might be common and a lot of you already know how to do this but I just wanted to share how I did it for those who still don’t know. I know that you can do this in your house because we will only be needing two ingredients and I am pretty sure that those ingredients are just laying around your house.

So without further do, let’s get started!

You will be needing:

  • Petroleum Jelly
  • Non-toxic crayon / Lip stick (to add some color. if you don’t want to put some color to your lip balm then you don’t need to add some crayons)
  • Empty Container (you can use an empty lipstick container)

_______ .. _______

Procedure:

 1.  Put some petroleum jelly on a large spoon or sandok.  If you are wondering about how much will you put in the large spoon, well it depends on how big your container is.

2. After you put the petroleum jelly on the large spoon, cut a short piece of crayon (mine is violet hihi) and add it into your large spoon, then put it above the open stove for 10 to 15 seconds.

(If you want a light color lip balm then I suggest you to put a really short piece of crayon. I wanted mine to look like purple but I didn’t know that I put a long piece of crayon that’s why it’s too dark.)

3. When it is already melted, prepare your container and pour it in.

4. And the last but not the least, put it inside the refrigerator or freezer for about 15 to 30 minutes.

Finally, this is our finish product…

It’s so easy right? You can even do this for about thirty minutes!

PS: This is my first time doing this kind of DIY so if it turned out bad to you then I am sorry.

If you did this DIY Project then feel free to comment down below about how it turned out. :)))))))

As always, thank you for reading this blog and always remember that you are BLESSED!
